How California Regional Center Services Work

Regional Centers

California Regional Centers assess eligibility and help eligible individuals plan, access, coordinate, and monitor services and supports related to a developmental disability.

Individual Program Plan (IPP)

The IPP is a person-centered written plan created with the individual and planning team. It identifies the person’s goals and the services and supports the individual and planning team agree can help meet those goals. Regional Center authorization and funding are handled through the Regional Center process and applicable requirements.

Important: Selora Care does not determine Regional Center eligibility, IPP goals, service authorization, approved hours, or funding. The IPP is developed with the individual and planning team, while eligibility and authorization follow the Regional Center process.
